Now, white boards become smarter than before

Ever thought that you have unlimited ink in a single white board marker? Or maybe you can print out what you have written or drawn on the white board? This can be true with SMART Board.



SMART Board is a intelligent, interactive, and also environmental-friendly tool for teaching or presenting. With the use of this board, teachers can add fun into their lessons (with a lot of creativity from teachers, lessons will be more fun and exciting).Question: Why SMART Board?

• Absolutely no ink - good for our environment.
  
• It is interactive - with your own finger, you can drag, click, draw, write, ... (bla bla bla).
• Its software is very helpful for teachers - it has got many items that will help teachers conduct lesson effectively. Now, teachers do not have to put a lot of efforts preparing teaching aids because SMART Board software has got them all (in this case, I would suggest Version 10).

However, there is an issue regarding the use of SMART Board in Malaysian schools - cost. Current price for a SMART Board is USD2000, or equivalent to MYR7000. Besides that, SMART Board must be paired with a PC and a LCD projector. It might not be possible if each class were to be provided with a SMART Board. Imagine if a school has 10 classes, or 15, or maybe 30. Wow! That costs a lot.
